Carlos Prates has officially put the UFC welterweight division on notice.
Entering his contest at UFC Vegas 100, the man known as “The Nightmare” carved a path of destruction across the 170-pound division.
But standing across the Octagon stood Neil Magny, the division’s gatekeeper to the top 15.
While the consensus was Magny could negate some of Prates’ skills, the Brazilian proved the dynamite in his hands was unavoidable as he melted his opponent with a violent first-round knockout.
This win pushed his pro record to 20-6, which includes four straight KO wins in the UFC.
