A proposed trial date has been set for Megan Thee Stallion‘s lawsuit against a blogger who allegedly repeatedly shared lies and cyberstalked the rapper.

According to court documents shared on social media by independent legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, the Houston rapper, legal name Megan Pete, could see her case against Milagro Cooper, known online as Milagro Gramz, argued in front of a judge next summer.

“The Parties will explore the possibility of a settlement in good faith; however, it is premature to address whether settlement is likely,” details the documents outlining a potential July 21, 2025 start date.

The lawsuit filed by the Grammy-winning rapper last month accuses Cooper of acting as an “online rumor mill churning out falsehoods about Ms. Pete to her tens of thousands of social media followers,” claiming Cooper is a “paid surrogate” for Tory Lanez, legal name Daystar Peterson, who was charged and convicted of felony assault with a deadly weapon after shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

“For years, you and other bloggers have acted on behalf of Mr. Peterson (aka Tory Lanez) as an online rumor mill churning out falsehoods about Ms. Pete to your tens of thousands of social media followers. You and other bloggers are a mouthpiece and puppet for Mr. Peterson, with a vendetta against Ms. Pete committed to tearing her down at all costs regardless of the truth,” detailed the “Savage” performer’s legal team Alex Spiro, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP in a letter to Cooper.

Cooper is being represented by the same lawyer working with Peterson in his appeal. According to Cuniff’s thread on X, her lawyer, Michael Hayden, has been licensed in California since March 2022. He isn’t, however, licensed in Florida, so he’ll need to find local counsel. Early in his career, Hayden also failed the California State Bar exam eight times after graduating from an online, unaccredited law school in four years and four months.
