There’s still some time to pick some great Black Friday PS5 deals with massive savings before Cyber Monday takes over. Many of these offers have been on the shelves since this time last week, but I’ve seen plenty of newcomers join the fray in the last few hours. They won’t be around much longer, though, so we recommend getting in there fast if there are still deals you have your eyes on.

I’ve been tracking these holiday sales for years and have learned where the best Black Friday PS5 deals are and how to make sure a discount is actually as valuable as a retailer says it is. I’ve rounded up all the biggest discounts still going strong before Cyber Monday PS5 deals take over, hunting down the games and accessories the GamesRadar+ team has had real hands-on experience with (and recommends) and making sure everything is at or near its lowest ever price.

Go big or go home with this galactic PS5 Pro deal

There’s a lot of people who want a PS5 Pro as we head into the holiday season, and if you’re willing to flex a little, then Walmart will certainly meet you halfway. They’re currently doing a Black Friday bundle that grants you a second Dualsense controller in “Galactic Purple” (hey, we didn’t name it), and takes nearly a hundred bucks off the sum total.

It’s Murphy’s law for criminals, now that Robocop is half off

One of last years stranger games, Robocop Rogue City pretty quickly became a cult classic among a certain strain of gamers, in which you play as the thundering cyborg peacekeeper. It’s one of those games where, if you’re not certain, a big discount can help a lot in pushing you to take the plunge on something that could end up becoming an enduring favorite. Well, now that Amazon has slashed it back to half price, it’s a good time to try it!

And hey, I did a whole bit on a Robocop discount without making the obvious “I’d buy that for a dollar” joke. Do I get a prize?

Rock around the oct

JRPG fans are eating well this Black Friday, what with all the deals on Metaphor and Final Fantasy. I can’t count myself among that fanbase, but I do speak with them, and Octopath Traveller is one of those games that comes up a lot, usually with a loving sigh on behalf of the speaker. If you DO count yourself among that crowd, Amazon has slashed over half the price off OT2 to celebrate the big weekend.

It’s like they’re dinosaurs, but also robots

What sales pitch beyond that would anybody need? The Horizon games are a common favorite for many players on PS5, and they’re particularly well-known for popping off visually. Considering the PS5 Pro can really stretch graphics to their utmost, Alloy’s odyssey should look more spectacular than ever. Good thing that Best Buy has knocked twenty bucks off the price tag.

The Last of Us should only tax your feelings, not your bank account

Good news for those who like their zombies games a little more bleak than, say, Dead Rising or Lollipop Chainsaw. Walmart has discounted both remastered versions of The Last of Us for the PS5, so you can grab gaming’s most legendary rumble in the fungal jungle at a discount price. The first game in particular has been hacked down in price, but both have pretty respectable discounts.

19 inches of Venom, anybody?

Yes, The Meme is back. The Collector’s Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has had its price slashed by $80 on the official PlayStation storefront, and while that deal will apparently be around for a while, that doesn’t guarantee stock will be. This box of goodies comes with the most recent Spider-Man PS5 game, as well as a Steelbook display case, all the pre-order bonuses and extras, and yes, of course, the legendary statue of Venom and the two Spider-Men, which measures at a total of… actually, how much was it again?

50% off no-holds-barred nostalgia, anybody? Amazon’s got you covered

The System Shock remake that released earlier this year is down to half off at Amazon, and it wasn’t particularly expensive to begin with. If you don’t know, System Shock and its sequel were the games that would go on to inspire the existence of Bioshock, and thus games like Prey and more. If you want to see how it all began, or relive a ruthless science-fiction blast from the past, this could be a good opportunity.

This discounted 8TB SSD is basically a game library waiting to happen

If you want an SSD memory expansion for your PS5, I guess there’s some logic in getting ALL the memory for your PS5. This 8TB WD_Black SSD can hold dozens of games (even if some of them are Call of Duty-sized), and Amazon has scoured 42% off the price. It’s still a lot of money, true, but it’s only a few bucks off the lowest price we’ve ever seen it at.

Black Ops 6 and the PS5 are bundled together – and there’s $75 off their combined price

If you’re in the market for a PS5 console (and one of the year’s biggest games, because isn’t it always), Walmart has a PS5 Slim bundle with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, meaning that those who want to fight the living and the dead alike can start their gaming setup from scratch. It basically means you’re getting the game for free, and a little more off the top besides.

Dragon Age Veilguard has its first major discount of the year!

Dragon Age Veilguard hasn’t even been out for a month, but the long-awaited fourth game in the franchise already has its price cut down by nearly a quarter at Amazon. If you’ve been looking for something to scratch that particular itch of fantasy violence and dating people with horns (you know, Baldur’s Gate 3 syndrome), Veilguard is 23% off now!

Spider-Man PS5 games down to less than $20? That’s pretty heroic pricing

The PS5 Spider-Man games are some of the most popular games in recent history, though nobody seems able to decide on which of the three is actually the best – though for me, Miles Morales’ dedicated game is always a strong contender. It’s lean and fun and cuts out a lot of the dead weight, the Christmas vibes are a cute aesthetic, and boy, are those lightning powers a blast to use. Walmart has slashed it down to less than half the price, so if you’ve an inclination to swing through the city in the snow, now’s the perfect chance.

Everything fans of driving games need has been slashed in price at the Amazon dealership

Those who love driving games – good news! Not only has F1 24 had its price slashed by 50%, but that’s one of those deals that pairs wonderfully with the Logitech G29 discount, a souped-up wheel/pedals combo that brings the immersion of the track to your front room. There’s a whole hundred dollars off that peripheral!

You can grab a discounted PS5 Slim directly from PlayStation this Black Friday

Just about every big retailer you can think of that even sells game consoles has some sort of PS5 Slim discount right now. Everyone from Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon each have Sony’s slimmer pixel-pushing beast available for less today. But did you know you can also buy the console straight from the PlayStation website? Well, you do now!

There’s an official US PlayStation Store and currently, you can get a disc edition PS5 Slim for just $414.99 this Black Friday. Sometimes buying directly from the brand adds a bit of reassurance should anything be wrong with it, but also it’s just nice to see Sony’s discounts no matter where you look.

I’m based over here in the UK so can’t personally share any experiences with using the US version, but I did just get my PS Portal from the UK PlayStation store and it arrived pleasantly fast. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the PlayStation Direct site in the future – and it’s worth having a look to see the rest of Sony’s current deals on the site.

Hey fellow anime nerds – Gundam Breaker 4 is 50% off right now

Gundam and video games go hand in hand, so I don’t think we’ll ever see an end to them any time soon. Gundam Breaker 4 is the fourth instalment of the Breaker series, as the name suggests, and lets you create a mech of your very own. You can then take it out for a test drive in various different combat sessions because what is Gundam without some mech on mech fighting action. Even if you have a passing interest in the anime franchise, Gundam Breaker 5 is now 50% off at Amazon for Black Friday, a deal that anime fan is sure to find hard to ignore.

Come to me Ifrit – Final Fantasy XVI is now down to half price

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Final Fantasy XVI was finally released on PC this year, so it’s no longer a PS5 exclusive but it’s still one of the best PS5 games you can play right now. If you’ve ever wanted an action RPG with a hint of Game of Thrones, and Final Fantasy creatures then this is the game for you. Plus it’s now half-price, at just $24.99 which is a new record low for the latest mainline game in the series.

Fancy yourself a PS5 Collectors Edition? Check out this Blasphemous II Black Friday deal

It’s a bit of a rarity to see collector’s editions be part of Black Friday, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the Blasphemous II Limited Collector’s Edition drop in price for a limited time at Amazon.

This collector’s set features a physical boxed copy of the game, steelbook, the OST, a certificate of authenticity, a game guide and so much more all for just $76.50.

The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro just dropped to its lowest price yet

If you’re after a multiplatform headset that plays particularly well with PS5, the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro is looking pretty sweet right now. This is the brand’s flagship device, so it carries a fairly hefty $329.99 MSRP. Still, a $110 discount has dropped that all the way down to $219.99 in Amazon’s Black Friday PS5 deals this week – a brand new record-low price where previous savings have only ever reached around $240 in the past.

PSA: The DualSense Edge just crept back up the price scale at Walmart

The DualSense Edge was enjoying a rare $10 discount at Walmart earlier today, but it looks like that offer is running out off the shelves. While the $189.99 sales price looked healthy enough last night, it’s now jumped back up to $194.99. That’s still a rare $5 discount on Sony’s premium controller, but there are other models offering better value overall.

Take the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro – at $149.99 it’s currently cheaper than ever (and much more affordable than the Edge), while still offering all the customizable controls you could ask for.

Want today’s best Black Friday PS5 bundle? Head to Walmart

The PS5 is seeing record-low prices across the web right now, but if you’re also eyeing up separate controller deals I’d recommend heading to Walmart first. The big-box store has a $474.98 sales price on a PS5 Slim bundle with a free DualSense controller included. That’s already $25 cheaper than the $499.99 price of the console, and you’re still saving a few bucks when taking today’s Black Friday PS5 deals on both items into account. That’s a recipe for a high-flying bundle.

Sound the alarms – the Silent Hill 2 is just $30 at Amazon

Earlier this month, the Silent Hill 2 remake on the PS5 got its first-ever discount. This was a pretty big deal, especially given the game was only released last month. This drove the price down to just $49.99, and now that November 29 is finally upon us, it just got an even better discount.

Silent Hill 2 is now just $30 at Amazon, saving you $39.99 on a brand-new 2024 title. Not only is that an incredible deal, it cements the horror remake as one of the best PS5 deals I’ve come across this year.

If you wanted a PS5 Slim extra controller console bundle then be quick – Walmart has already sold half its stock

One of the best PS5 Slim (Disc Edition) bundles I found during this Black Friday has got to be the extra controller bundle at Walmart. While the retailer boasts of a saving of $95, it’s actually more like $100 when you include the full price of buying the console and additional white PS5 DualSense controller separately.

This bundle has definitely been going well, as Walmart has already sold 55% of its stock. So if you had your eyes on it too, you better be quick about it as it could all be gone by tomorrow.

The force is strong with this Star Wars Outlaws deal at Amazon

I’m no stranger to the reception of Star Wars Outlaws, but us Star Wars fans can be hard to please. What always helps when diving into a new piece of media, however, is a nice big discount, and currently Outlaws is $30 off thanks to Black Friday.

If you were hesitant about giving Ubisoft’s Star Wars adventure a go before, maybe having 43% off might convince you.

These official PlayStation figures are currently 20% off and I may have to buy them both

Picking up the perfect gift for a die-hard PlayStation fan can be a daunting task. While there is a huge amount of PS5 games, console bundles, and accessories out there (and plenty that are discounted right now thanks to Black Friday) chances are the person you have in mind has them all.

You could always take the risk and still buy whatever you had your eye on, but if you have any suspicion at all, alternatives like these official PlayStation figures are perfect for the holidays. Right now, Amazon has dropped the price of these 6-inch action figures to just $20.99, saving you 30% off their MSRP of $29.99 too.

As of typing, over 30% of the remaining stock of both the God of War Atreus and Horizon Forbidden West Varl figures have already been snatched up. So if you want to get one of the best PS5 gifts I’ve come across this Black Friday, I recommend being fast about it.

Save $30 on the Backbone one PlayStation Edition mobile controller

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

What I love most about tech is the long list of ways you can do the same thing. Take remote playing your PS5 games for example. You could pick up a PS Portal and remotely play your games that way, or you could do it on your gaming PC, laptop, and of course, your smartphone.

If playing games on your smartphone doesn’t sound very appealing, don’t fret as there are mobile controllers like the Backbone One PlayStation Edition out there to make it a more comfortable experience. You just slot your phone in the center and this peripheral transforms it into a little portable PlayStation, buttons and all.

This official PlayStation LED gaming room sign is the perfect stocking present – and I desperately want one

Paladone has been making some of the best gaming room accessories for a while now. I know this because I’ve collected a fair share in my time, from light-up PlayStation logos to Super Mario lamps and more. What’s especially cool about them is that they’re all officially licensed, so you can always rely on a high level of quality.

Right now I have one of their PlayStation accessories on my bedside table, but I’ve never wanted a Paladone item more until now. This official PlayStation gaming room sign not only lights up, but it comes with stickers so you can personalize it with your own name.

If you have a PlayStation fan in your life who also takes their gaming room pretty seriously, I can’t imagine a better stocking present for the holiday season. Plus, it’s only $14.99 at Amazon right now, thanks to Black Friday.

Be fast to grab Sonic X Shadow Generations for just $29.99 while you still can

This Black Friday, I’ve maybe been talking about this Sonic X Shadow Generations PS5 game deal a bit too much, but I can’t help it. Not only was the game only released last month, but today’s new price is the lowest it’s ever been on record.

I was fortunate enough to get this brand-new Sonic game for my birthday earlier this month, as I’ve made it apparent to friends that I’m a bit of a Shadow the Hedgehog fan. And as a Shadow fan let me be the one to tell you that picking up this Sonic Generations remaster is the perfect game to get you in the mood for the upcoming movie.

Finished Elden Ring for the 100th time? Well Lies of P is now 26% off at Amazon

With the popularity of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring, there’s no shortage of soul-like games out there, taking inspiration from developer FromSoftware’s brilliant back catalog. Lies of P is one of the most well-known of the lot, which puts a fairytale spin on the genre for a bit of something new. If you’ve grown a bit tired of replaying Elden Ring, or want a distraction from the lack of a Bloodborne remaster, Lies of P is now 26% off at Amazon thanks to Black Friday.

If you want to finally give Lies of P a go, you will have to be fast. 45% of Amazon users have already claimed the remaining discounted copies of the PS5 game and as a limited Black Friday offer, there’s no telling how long this deal will last.

Add a bit of glam to your PS5 Slim with these console cover discounts

If you’re sick and tired of the all-white design of your PS5 Slim, you don’t have to put up with it. One of my favorite features of any model PS5 is that you can easily replace the console covers and change up the look of your Sony console.

Plenty of well-known third-party brands like Dbrand make their own versions of these covers. However, picking up Sony’s official console cover offerings this Black Friday is ideal if you want to perfectly match your favorite DualSense controller.

Typically, console covers can be on the pricey side, coming in at $59.99. But Sony has knocked off $10 on some of their Slim console covers for Black Friday so you can save a bit of cash. (And even put that towards even more PS5 accessories.)

Got a PS5 Pro? There’s savings to be had with Sony’s official ‘pro-enhanced’ games

Just before the launch of the PS5 Pro Sony released an official blog post outlining every game that makes use of the ‘pro-enhancements’ the upgraded console is capable of. Not every single PS5 game is included in the list. However, a fair few just so happen to also be discounted this Black Friday.

If you have a PS5 Pro in your possession and want to witness more of the graphical and performance improvements for yourself, then picking up any of these games is your best bet.

Prepare for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii with this colossal Infinite Wealth deal

(Image credit: Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio)

There’s a huge amount of games in the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series so don’t feel bad if you haven’t finished them all. I’ve been playing since Yakuza 4 was released and there are still plenty of games in the franchise I’ve yet to blast through, which includes Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

The most recent game in the series was released back in January, and as is pretty typical with games in the series, it’s seen plenty of price cuts in that time. But only until Black Friday has it seen a record low price like this before, with a huge 64% off its MSRP of $69.99 at Amazon. If you want to ensure you’re up to date when Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii rolls around early next year, you can prepare by picking up this incredible Black Friday PS5 game deal.

South Park Snow Day just snowballed down in price

When you think of South Park games it’s more than likely titles like The Stick of Truth and The Fractured but Whole come to mind. So if the release of Snow Day totally passed you by, don’t worry as I’m sure you aren’t the only one.

This 3D co-op game sees the boys dealing with, well, a snow day (go figure), and it’s up to you to save the day by fighting a blizzard of enemies alongside Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny. Just like the South Park RPGs, you take on the role of the ‘new kid’ and can fully customize your little South Park OC as you see fit.

There’s no savings to be had with the PS Portal but free shipping is better than nothing

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

It’s a shame Sony’s remote-playing peripheral hasn’t seen any Black Friday deals this year. I had the hope that at least today of all days, we’d finally see a tiny amount shift off the fancy peripheral, but alas, it’s still right up to the $200 mark. (Well, one dollar off here but still.)

While that isn’t great, I’d still recommend picking it up this November. I just got my own this week, and it now sits proudly by my bedside right next to the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch. While I could remotely play PS5 games before on the Deck, being able to still make use of Sony’s haptic tech at the same time has been a treat.

I do recommend that, before you pick one up, you have a stable internet connection. As it’s remote play we’re dealing with, that’s pretty much a requirement to ensure you’ll be able to play anything without it being a pixelated mess.

I already own a ton of DualSense controllers but I can’t ignore this $20 saving

My PS5 DualSense collection is getting pretty out of hand. When I originally got my PS5 in the first place, it came with an extra DualSense so right from the beginning I had two at my disposal. Both of those have sadly been relegated to the dusty depths of my TV cabinet drawer because of stick drift, and so of course, I had to get even more.

Currently, my absolute favorite PS5 controller is the official Astro Bot one, but I will admit that I’ve had my eyes on the new Chroma-colored peripherals for a while now. Currently, the Chroma Indigo DualSense is now just $59.99 at Best Buy, saving you a whole $20 off its MSRP of $79.99.

Its gorgeous metallic-like coloring is hard not to look at that honestly, I’m starting to wish one of my existing fully-working controllers got stick drift too so I could justify picking this up.

You don’t need a PS5 Pro to get more storage with these SSD Black Friday deals

Look, I get it. The 2TB storage of the new PS5 Pro must look pretty appetizing, especially if like me you find yourself constantly deleting games to make room for others. But one of the best things about any model PS5 is that you can upgrade the storage yourself.

While I like to think of myself as a trophy hunter, there aren’t actually too many PlayStation games I’ve platinumed. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, however, is definitely one, and that’s not because it was especially easy to do, but because it’s been one of my absolute favorite experiences on the PS5 so far and I didn’t want to put it down.

My first PS2 game was the very first Ratchet and Clank, so I have a soft spot for the series. But if little me then could see how the series looks now, they’d be in awe. Not only is Rift Apart a stunning game to play through, but it’s incredibly well polished and actually takes advantage of the haptic tech of the DualSense controller too.

Even if you never grew up with the original games, if you want an experience that’ll make you truly appreciate what the PS5 can do, this is it – and it now has $40 knocked off thanks to Black Friday.

Thankfully Dragon Ball Sparking Zero isn’t over 9,000 this Black Friday

It’s been a good while since we last got a Budokai Tenkaichi game, so the release of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was more than warranted. This brand-new fighting game is a fan-service dream, full of What-if scenarios and 182 characters to play as from pretty much every arc the series has seen so far.

I fully appreciate fighting games aren’t for everyone, so this might not be on everyone’s (dragon) radar. But there’s been so much love put into Sparking Zero that the idea of any Dragon Ball fan missing out makes me feel like I have a Freiza-shaped Piccolo hole in my chest.

Shopping tip: Add a PlayStation Store gift card code into a card for an extra surprise at the holidays

Now that it’s finally November 29, the holiday season is closer than ever. My favorite thing to do every holiday season is finding unique ways to surprise fellow gaming nerds in my life, and sneaking a PlayStation Store gift card into their card is one of my favorite ways to do this.

There aren’t any deals on actual gift cards today. The amount you want costs the exact same either way. However, nothing beats opening a card and finding a code to add some funds to your PS account that you weren’t expecting.

$60 off one of my favorite PS5 gaming headsets

If you’re gonna have a fancy piece of tech like a PS5, it makes sense to pair it with a high-end gaming headset. The only caveat with adding one of the best gaming headsets to your PS5 gaming sessions is that typically, they don’t come cheap. With that in mind, Black Friday is a great time to get some of the best bits of audio tech for less.

The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is one of the best gaming headsets I’ve had the pleasure of popping on my head. Not only is it incredibly comfortable to wear after hours on end, but it includes Razer’s HyperClear Super Wideband Mic, making you sound crystal clear to all your friends. In fact, whenever I use this headset to play Dead by Daylight with friends, I can always bet on getting compliments on how clear my voice sounds.

This PS5 headset normally sits around the $200 mark, which can be a lot to ask for a gaming headset, but this Black Friday deal knocks off $60, bringing down the price to just $139.99 at Best Buy, which is a great deal for one of the best pair of gaming cups going.

Need time to kill before the Cobra Kai finale next year? This Best Buy PS5 game deal is for you

Waiting for the official ending of a six-season show can be excruciating. Especially if you’ve been a fan of the entire Karate Kid franchise since it began in the 80s. The ending to the Netflix TV show, Cobra Kai, now isn’t expected until next year and that’s a lot of time to kill – so why not spend it playing a game based on the franchise?

The Karate Kid Street Rumble is based on the first three movies and lets you fight your way through an onslaught of enemies with a cute retro-inspired pixel art style. You can also even play as Daniel LaRusso, Mr. Miyagi, Ali Mills, and Kumiko too!

20% off PS5 thumbsticks exclusively for Amazon Prime members

You know Black Friday is well and truly happening when, well, it’s Friday and Amazon has rolled out some Prime-exclusive deals.

You will need to be a Prime member to see any savings on these KontrolFreek thumbsticks, but as a recent thumbstick convert, I highly recommend you pick them up. Adding an extra layer to your sticks, especially one with an improved rubber grip is not only more comfortable but adds a splash of color if you’re just rocking out the plan ol’ white DualSense.

What’s better is that if you still happen to be playing the PS4, there’s are compatible with the sticks of the DualShock 4 too!

I should have waited for this Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Black Friday deal

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is my least favorite game of the year. I won’t get into the exact details, as today isn’t about me, it’s about saving you some hard-earned cash during Black Friday. But I will say that if there was a 43% discount when I originally bought this reimagined sequel, that definitely would have cushioned the deal.

Saving $30 on this RPG is definitely worth a fanfare or two, as its MSRP of $69.99 is a lot to ask, especially for any PS5 fans with a budget to keep to. If you’ve been putting off continuing your FFVII journey after Remake, then I’d highly recommend grabbing this before the price returns to normal after this big sales event.

Snake! Snaaaaaaaake! This collection of some of the most iconic games the PlayStation has ever seen features not just the original Metal Gear Solid on PS1, but Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear (NES/FC version), and Snake’s Revenge for good measure.

If you grew up with the Metal Gear series and are after some nostalgia, or maybe just want to replay Metal Gear Solid 3 just in time for the remake, this collection is now only $18.99 at Amazon, which is a bargain worth calling Snake up on the codec for.

The PS5 Slim just got a further discount on Amazon

We’re starting off the day with a nice juicy discount on the digital edition of the PS5 Slim. The PS5 Slim has already been the main focus of this month’s sales, but until now it just had 15% off. With Black Friday officially here there’s a nice tiny bit of extra savings to be had here – which is always warranted with such a pricey bit of tech!

And we’re off! It’s officially Black Friday, so after months (yes months) of tracking this year’s biggest PS5 deals I’m ready for the sale to fully begin. I’m seeing a lot of the same discounts on the shelves this morning, with record-low prices on consoles, games, and accessories. However, Best Buy and Amazon have dropped new savings on us in the early hours so I’ll be hunting through those latest offers to see if there’s any treasure in these newcomers.

So far, things look more geared towards Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Meta Quest in this morning’s roster of new discounts – but we’re holding out hope. Not that we need it, this year’s Black Friday PS5 deals are already looking absolutely stacked – and I’ll see you through the entire sale right here.
